Living Better With Brita

Water is essential, this we know. I really try and drink a ton of water in a day. Proper hydration has been linked to better skin, better digestion and just better in general. As a kid, whenever we were sick or felt like a bug was coming on or anything… My dad would tell us to drink lots of water. I used to think it was so silly because it’s just water. It’s just… nothing. Right? But it always did the trick and drinking massive amounts of water is now my solution for almost any problem or ailment in life.

Pure As Can Be

Circling back to water being “nothing” for a minute. While we’d all love to believe that water is just water, our tap water (and even some filtered water) can be contaminated by Lead, Mercury, Chlorine…and more.

Filtered water is so incredibly important for this very reason. Nothing’s better than Brita when it comes to an easy filtering solution for you and your family. Their filters remove 99% of Lead, plus Mercury, Chlorine, Benzene and more which leaves your water clean, but also tasting great.

Ditch Single-Use

I drink about 125oz of water a day, give or take. If I was using single-use plastic bottles I’d be creating so much waste in a single day (about 8-10 plastic bottles a day). Finding ways to be a little more sustainable each and every day is really important to me, which is why I always use a reusable water bottle. And I’m always looking for more ways to do a little bit better.

Thanks to the Longlast filter from Brita, I can enjoy filtered water even longer. With the Longlast filter you can save up to 1,800 bottles a year. One filter replaces the equivalent of 900 bottles. That’s amazing, right?!

Personally, I stopped using single use plastic water bottles a while ago. Single-use plastic is perhaps the biggest environmental offender filling up our landfills and oceans. In fact, by 2050 it’s predicted that their will be more single-use plastic water bottles in the ocean than fish. Just sit with that for a second… This Earth Day, if you haven’t already, make the commitment to stop using single-use plastic water bottles, please do so.

To ensure your reusable water bottle is always filled with clean, great tasting water, opt for the Brita Longlast– With Brita, you can save up to 1,800 bottles a year. One filter replaces the equivalent of 900 bottles. Plus, with this pitcher, you have a digital indicator when it’s time to change out your filter which I love.

So do better, be better and live better! Ditch single-use plastic water bottles and start drinking clean, great tasting filtered water. Drink up friends! 🙂
