I’ve worn glasses since I was in third grade. I remember sitting in class and needing to move chairs to take notes or see the white board. I got glasses and the game was changed—I could see again! At some point in junior high I started wearing contacts. I had taken up competitive swimming and they were important to see while racing—always good when you’re hurdling toward a concrete wall. But I’ve always loved eyewear. They offer up a way to A) see and; B) add some style to your look. A new frame can add a completely new feel to your overall look so I love having a few options in my arsenal to mix it up every so often.

I’ve always loved the look of a chunkier frame so I opted for a tortoise oversized frame and a more modern clear frame. Both give a unique look and fit great. And that’s the best part about glasses in general, is their ability to transform an outfit or showcase your personality. Even though it was all done online, it was easy to find pairs that fit my face (thanks to their MyFit tool) and get my prescription added to my lenses.
