3 Classic Cocktails, Simplified

One of my favorite things to do is sit back, relax with family or friends and sip on a cocktail. But the real bummer with cocktails is that they oftentimes contain unnecessary sugars or include complicated ingredients that nobody has just hanging around their kitchen. I’m a huge proponent of 3 ingredient cocktails so I put together a couple of simple cocktails and even a mocktail for those days you don’t feel like boozing. The best part about all of these guys is that they are simple to make but don’t lack flavor. In fact that punch of flavor from all three of these is quite impressive if I do say so myself.

Peach Margarita

This is great take on a classic margarita and is a low-cal way to make this classic cocktail full of bold flavor. The peach flavor of this carbonated mineral water is the star of the show here. Peach is such a fresh, light flavor and works perfectly with the citrusy notes in a margarita.

1 can Peach Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water

1.5oz blanco tequila

0.5oz triple sec

1oz fresh lime juice

Combine tequila, triple sec and lime juice over ice. Top off with a can of Peach Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water and enjoy.

Cucumber Gin Fizz

I’m a huge gin and tonic fan but tonic water contains over 100 calories on its own so using flavored carbonated water instead makes a whole lot of sense. This cocktail captures the freshness of cucumber with that classic fizzy gin goodness.

1 can lime Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water

1.5oz gin

0.5oz fresh lime juice

Cucumber

Add a slice or two of cucumber to your glass and muddle. Add ice, gin and lime juice. Top off with Lime Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water. I added a thin little slice of cucumber around my glass to amp up that subtle freshness that the cucumber adds.

Watermelon Smash Mocktail

This one is delicious and is perfect for a crowd. It’s three ingredients and could easily be spiked if you were so inclined.

1 can Watermelon Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water

2oz fresh watermelon juice

0.5oz fresh lemon juice

I used a citrus juicer to juice my watermelon but you could easily use a blender and strain it to remove the pulp. Combine your ingredients over ice and sip until satisfied.
