Jonesing for New Jeans

As you can probably imagine, my closet is pretty full. Some might call me a clothing hoarder but I like to see myself as a collector. Has a nicer ring to it right? Anyways, each season there are a few pieces that I need to add to my wardrobe. You may have seen my Instagram post recently, but a thick, gray striped button up was one of the pieces on my list for this Spring/Summer season. I finally got one and it’s awesome. But another item on my list was a good solid pair of light wash jeans. I wanted a pair that was made from quality denim and had an almost retro vibe. So happy to report that I found them! This pair from Mott & Bow is exactly what I was looking for.

I have a few pairs of Mott & Bow jeans—if you haven’t given them a try, you really should. The quality is great and I’ve always had luck with the fit. Plus, they offer a great way to test out sizes on their website so you end up with the perfect fit. I always opt for the skinny fit because they work best on my body. However, they have a variety of fits available in a ton of washes so there is something for everyone. For this look, I paired it was a simple black tee, also from Mott & Bow, because simplicity is the name of the game sometimes.

This is honestly my uniform these days. I work in a casual office so this is basically my work uniform. And to be honest, I wore these jeans every single day last week. It was a great way to test out the fit over time and they held up great! A personal pet peeve of mine is when you wear a pair of jeans and they’re stretched out after wear one. These guys are now on their second week (wearing them as I’m writing them now) and they still fit great.
