I’m finally getting back in the groove of things. Five weeks ago, my wife and I had our first baby and let me tell you… we have been busy! Between adjusting to parenthood, tons of visitors, and adjusting to very little sleep, things have been sort of nuts. But, I was finally able to get back here to the blog. And what better way to return, than with a killer collaboration with Members Only.
In case you missed it, a while back I rocked a Members Only jacket that I inherited from my grandfather. It’s probably from the eighties or nineties and it’s so cool. And I pulled it out of my closet just in time for this nineties resurgence that’s all over the place right now. And even more timely, I recently added a new Members Only jacket to my collection. This acid wash denim Members Only jacket is a stunner. Perfectly on trend and the perfect layer for Spring (and year round here in Southern California).
It’s been slightly warm here lately so I broke out the shorts (sun’s out, thighs out right?). The classic stripe shirt plays well with the nineties trend. I swear I had a shirt just like this as a kid. It pairs perfectly with the jacket without detracting from all its glory. To be honest, it was the first time I’d fully gotten dressed in an outfit since the baby came because, well, #dadlife. I walked out and my wife was like “wow, you don’t look like a dad.” We got a laugh but truth be told, I took it as a compliment because who says dads can’t look cool? Am I right?
