My Everyday Carry

You know those items you can’t leave your house without? Those everyday carry items! Maybe it’s a favorite pair of sunglasses. Or a great pocket notebook. Regardless, we all have some daily must-have items and I thought I’d let you know a few of mine. So I dumped out my work bag and started writing about my everyday carry goods. Check it out below and let me know what you can’t leave the house without in the comments.

HP Sprocket – Buy for $129.99

This little printer is so fun. It prints little 2×3 pictures from wherever you’re at. It essentially turns your phone or Instagram feed into a Polaroid. Great for decorating your desk at work, having your favorite pic or two in your car, etc. I most recently used it to print some adorable pics of my newborn daughter to adorn my fridge. The print quality is great! Haven’t done it yet, but it would be an affordable way to host your own little photo booth at your next gathering with friends.

Anthony Instant Fix for Oil Control – Buy for $29

Oh wow, guys, this stuff is life changing. I’ve struggled with oily skin my entire adult life. And since I’m already thirty years old, I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. This stuff is great to have with you at work or in your car (keep it somewhere cool). You add a little dab to your hands and rub into your skin. It absorbs all the oil and decrease shine instantly. It’s amazing! I’ve gotten in the habit of applying mid-afternoon so that I’m not a shiny mess by the end of the day. Great for looking good in afternoon meetings, happy hours or nighttime plans!

Affordable Sunglasses – Less than $50

These classic clubmaster styled sunnies are a style must-have. And since I like to have options when it comes to sunglasses, I like to pick up tons of affordable sunglasses rather than invest in one or two more expensive pairs. That way you can add to your collection without the guilt (and drain on your bank account). This pair is from Shades Club where you can actually get a pair of sunglasses sent to your door every month for $45, but you can find affordable sunglasses all over the place.

Word Notebooks – Buy 3 for $9.99

I constantly go back and forth between loving to keep all my notes digitally or physically written down in notebooks. When I’m in the mood for physical notebooks, I always include Word Notebooks amongst my everyday carry items. They’re stylish, simple and easy to throw in a bag and have with you wherever you’re at. Sometimes I actually find it quicker to get my ideas out of my head if I’m physically writing them down (does that even make any sense?) and then transfer them to a digital format later. Side note, for digital note taking, I turn to Google Keep.

Case Station Phone Case – Customize for $39.99

I cannot talk these guys up enough! After using inferior cases that looked cool but left my phone screen cracked and shattered, I thought I’d be stuck having to use some God awful, bulky phone case to keep my phone intact. Then I got a Case Station phone case and everything changed. First off, I got the tough case because I’m a little rough and tumble with my phone unfortunately–I don’t know why but I swear my phone has an unruly attraction to the ground. The coolest part about them is that they let you customize your phone case. You can add pictures, text (my last one had one of my favorite literary quotes on it), or you can customize with their own artwork. For my new Samsung Galaxy S9+ I opted to use their artwork. I loved this black and white piece and it gives my phone a personalized, yet sleek and stylish look. And no joke guys, these cases truly protect. A while back I was juggling too many things on my way to my car in the morning and somehow ended up flinging my phone across the driveway. Tears welling behind my eyes I went to pick it up and found that it was perfectly intact–no damage whatsoever. The case itself was a little scuffed but that’s it! Amazing! Now I don’t go anywhere without these cases.

And of course you need a great bag to carry everything in–this beauty is from Fossil.

While I did receive product in exchange for posting about these brands, all opinions and thoughts are solely my own. 🙂
