I’m a denim addict and I’m not ashamed of it. You can never have too much denim in my opinion! Realistically, every awesome outfit starts with a good pair of jeans so finding the right pair is important. I update my denim collection every season and these two new pairs of Topman jeans were perfect additions. I even made my wife hold a pair of these jeans (Note: she was impressed) when I was trying them on because you can just feel the quality. They aren’t made of that super stretchy, thin “denim”. These are the real deal. Rigid and refined but with enough stretch so that they’re comfortable. And, as you all know, comfort is key for anything I’m putting on my body. Especially since I tend to gravitate towards slimmer (some might say skinny) fits. They’ve got to be slim but move with me and hold their shape over time. Check, check and check!
And to pair with denim, especially as we move into spring I like a top with a good stripe. Now you can opt for a subtle, skinny stripe, but where’s the fun in that? I like going bold. With the lighter wash I went with a bold mustard striped shirt. I love how the billowy material and looser fit contrasts the slim jean. And the almost varsity-esque sweatshirt paired great with the black jeans for a casual, on-trend look.
