French Navy

Classic looks are classic for a reason. You can always count on them to look great and they don’t really ever go out of style. That’s what’s so great about navy stripes in the spring and summer. The add a classic nautical flair to your looks and are great no matter your personal style. Another classic that is a style must, especially in the summer, is a great navy short. Navy is great because it’s basically the spring/summer’s black. It can work with casual looks or polished, dressier looks. The combo of the shorts and shirt has me feeling a little bit like a French sailor. Or better yet, like I should be boarding a yacht for the French Riviera. And I’m okay with that. Being able to board a yacht at a moment’s notice sounds pretty nice if you ask me…

Styling the look really comes into play with classic pieces. It’s how you inject your personal style into your wardrobe. I have been tucking almost all of my shirts in lately so I did that and did a loose sleeve roll for a casual, laidback vibe. Here’s a little style and money-saving tip. I love the look of being able to cuff my shorts. I like the look because it adds a little interest. So picking up a short that has some length to it is best for me so I can cuff them and they won’t become booty shorts. So with these shorts I can wear them full length for a preppy, classic look or cuff them for a trendier, casual look. Two looks for the price of one.
