Testing out new skincare products is always a roll of the dice for me. My skin is the worst combination of sensitive, dry and oily. To a dermatologist it all makes sense. So I’m always on board with trying out a new product to see how it works for me. Especially products that are about smoothing skin out because I for one already have quite a few wrinkles. I’m not afraid of wrinkles, but when you’re not even thirty and they’re starting, can you imaging what I’ll look like in my sixties? So I got my hands on Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream.
The Kiehl’s formula is 99.6% naturally derived and 100% free of parabens, mineral oils, synthetic colors and fragrances. The awesome cream comes in this bright yellow glass jar (gotta give props to Kiehl’s for packaging). The renewing cream combines New Zealand Manuka honey and Korean red ginseng root which aid your skin in repairing itself. The cream is intensely moisturizing. I used a little too much the first night but got it down to a small dab the following few days. Ultimately it made my skin feel smoother and ultra moisturized. I did break out a bit at the beginning, however my skin always does that when I add a new product in to the mix. My wife wanted to give it a try and she’s in love with it! It’s left both of our faces smoother and softer, score!
