Bold, floral prints are everywhere for spring but it can sometimes be hard for the unseasoned sartorialist to work them into their wardrobe. This outfit is a super simple way to spice up your spring/summer wardrobe. This bold floral print chambray is a new addition to my closet and I have made it feel very welcome. It’s not only a chambray, which I obviously love, but it has this awesome floral print that sort of kind of looks like camo, which I also love, and it also has a paint-splattered, Pollock-esque feel which is just so cool. A really easy way to wear this printed shirt would have been to pair it with some jeans which would help mellow out the boldness. But I love how it looks paired with these black pants. Contrasted with the black the floral pattern really comes alive and I don’t mind that at all. The blue oxfords also make the print pop that much more.
I recently picked up these Spitfire sunglasses (for less than $40) and I am in love so get used to seeing these guys because they will be popping up all over this spring/summer.
