I made it. I made it to my vacation! I’ve spent the better part of a week enjoying the sunshine, the sandy beaches and some of the natural surroundings Maui has to offer. I mentioned that last time my wife and I were in Maui she was struck with a bad case of food poisoning. It was our honeymoon mind you so it’s was especially awful. This time I’m happy to report that we’ve recreated everything minus being room-bound by illness. Same hotel, which left us some yummy treats and cocktails in our room when we arrived. Thank you Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas! And same gorgeous beach. All in all it has been perfect.
Normally when I pack for a trip I bring way too many things. I’ve got short trips down, they’re easy. Longer trips I usually pack way too many things and end up with a mess of uncoordinated outfits. This time around I’ve done good. I’ve worn pretty much everything I packed which has me feeling pretty satisfied with my packing skills.
One thing I knew I was going to pack with me was my JORD Wood Watch. It’s been the perfect go-to accessory. It’s a great way to channel the natural, island vibes of Maui without walking around in a pooka shell necklace. Side note: I did in fact wear a shell necklace one day because a nice shop owner gave it to me and it’s Hawaii. When in Rome Maui folks! Back to this gorgeous, unique watch.
