Simple Cucumber Gin Cocktail Recipe

It’s hot. It’s humid. And it’s time for a cocktail. By the end of a hot summer’s day all I want to do is cool off with a refreshing and light cocktail.ย I love fresh or herbal flavors in cocktails–I made a rosemary simple syrup a while back and went through it so fast that I wasn’t even able to photograph any of the cocktails I made with it. Woops, I’ll have to whip up another batch and get to posting some of those soon. One flavor that always goes well in a cocktail is cucumberย so I recently started picking up these Spindrift seltzers because they add a great cucumber flavor and taste so fresh and light. They go great in my favorite cocktail: a gin and tonic. Personally, there’s nothing I love more than a gin cocktail no matter how you slice it but there’s something so simple and so satisfying about a gin and tonic. They are my go to summer drink (or year round to be honest) so I thought that the addition of some cucumber flavor would work and it turned out great. Recipe below (even though it’s pretty self-explanatory). Enjoy!

Bluecoat Gin (Or your favorite gin. Loving the light, clean taste of Bluecoat at the moment.)

Spindrift Cucumber Seltzer

  1. Muddle a slice or two of cucumber in your glass.
  2. Add 1-2oz of gin (depending on glass size).
  3. Squeeze juice of one lime wedge into glass.
  4. Add ice to glass.
  5. Top off with Spindrift Cucumber Seltzer.
  6. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or lime.

And that’s it, could it get any easier?! It’s delicious, refreshing and even as I write this I want to be sipping on one. Unfortunately it’s 7AM on a Monday… Sip responsibly friends!
