Thank goodness! Fall weather is finally starting to hit us on the west coast. It’s still warmish… in the seventies today. But I’ll take it! It’s better than the 100 degrees we’ve had lately. And since it’s cooling down but is by no means time for wool sweaters, I’ve turned to long-sleeved tees. They’re lightweight and there’s something about covering your arms that just seems right this time of year. Right? I don’t know… But I’ve been turning to lightweight knits as a way to trick myself into feeling like it’s fall.

Knitwear has become a bigger part of my wardrobe in the last year. About a year ago I started at a new company that has a casual dress code. It’s great because I can essentially wear whatever I want. So instead of boring button ups (it was a finance company so I had to keep it simple) I now get to wear patterns and prints and have fun with my outfits. It’s blown my wardrobe possibilities wide open.

The weather is starting to cool down. Now the fun can begin and the layers can really start to come out to play. Get ready!
