New Do & Navy For Days

My wife said she wasn’t a huge fan of this outfit because there was too much blue. She clearly missed my last outfit. Regardless, I think the amount of navy is in perfect harmony. I love this indigo cotton cardigan and how versatile it can be. I’ve worn it to the office and worn it casually and it is the perfect, lightweight layer for this time of year. And I can’t get enough of these navy oxfords–they are incredibly comfortable and are a nice break from the monotony of black, brown, tan, lighter tan, color choices that can sometimes plague oxfords. Originally I wasn’t sure how much use I would get out of a blue pair of shoes but Elvis was right, I would write a song about them if there wasn’t already one. They have quickly become one of my go-to pairs of shoes and they mix so easily with everything in my wardrobe that it’s almost silly that I was ever concerned.

I got a new haircut and I went a bit shorter because a) It’s getting warmer and it’s nice to have less hair on my head and; b) I wanted something with slightly more style. I’ve always been afraid to go shorter on the sides because I don’t always like seeing my scalp. Love it on others but not always a fan on myself but I think my fears have been abated. I’m already loving the look and how easy it is to style so bravo to that.
