STYLE

Camo, Cardigan, & Contrast

This outfit combines some of my favorite things into one outfit. First off, camo is and always will be one of my favorite prints for men. I love how easy it can work its way into a wardrobe and, sure, it may leave the style scene in the coming seasons but when it returns (and it will return), I will be there waiting for it with open arms. Plus, I love that this camo shirt is also a flannel (always a comfy bonus). This outfit also adds another love of mine, one I have talked about on Brick&Vine numerous times before… mixing black and brown. I love the contrast of the stark black jeans and the mid-tone brown in the belt and boots. Lastly, this cardigan one of my closet’s classics. I have had it for years (about 6 I believe) and I absolutely love it with all of it’s boiled wool goodness. It looks exactly as it did when I bought it–it had all the rustic, pilling qualities that it shows here and it will be a piece that I cherish for (fingers crossed) years to come.
