Grey Tweed and Unexpected Plaid

Unlike the rest of the country, California has been pretty warm lately so this is about as much of the winter wardrobe I’ve been able to use the past few weeks. I love the classic grey tweed pants paired with an unexpected plaid shirt with warm winter tones. I am a sucker for contrast and doing things a little different so I like to pair brown accessories with these light grey pants for another layer of interest. Cut me some slack–when we can’t layer out here you have to search for other ways to make an outfit stand out. Add in a little texture, a little color, and a little contrast and you are good to go. Still hoping for cooler weather in the weeks to come…
