While I was back east the weather was unseasonably warm so this lightly layered outfit was the perfect way to spend a sunny, fall day in Rhode Island. While I had hoped to be bundled up in layers upon layers of woolen warmth, the weather had a different idea. Regardless, I was able to enjoy the (slightly) cooler conditions in a bold flannel shirt, light cardigan, and thick cable scarf. My leather boots were the perfect shoe to trek around beautiful little towns laden with leaves. It was also good practice for the winter to come back in Southern California.
