Add Animal Inspired Decor to Your Home

There is something about animals that fascinates us human beings. Whether it’s that they seem like creatures from a different planet (I’m talking to you sloths) or if it’s because we see things in them that are just like ourselves… either way we have an obsession with animals that doesn’t stop at the cute pics and videos. Animal inspired decor is everywhere right now. Here are a few of my favorite, most-affordable finds from across the web.

This Abstract Giraffe sculpture from West Elm is a great way to add a little bit of sophisticated safari to any room. It’s got tons of personality with its long, slender neck and is sure to add a little style to any room. Its antiqued bronze hammered finish is sure to raise any space to new heights. BUY HERE.

This Thomaspaul Scrimshaw Whale Tray from Pure Home is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Made of high quality melamine, this serving tray is sure to make all your guests smile (not that you’ll want to cover it up with anything). Ahh yes, what a whale of a tale your parties will be with a serving tray such as thee (this–had to rhyme). BUY HERE.

This Gazelle Trophy Head from Fab.com is a humorous accent that will add a little fun to any living space. Clearly faux, this animal head trophy will appeal to all individuals, that is unless you have an aversion to powder-coated iron wire… Feel free to tell tall tales of how you stalked and got a killer deal on this magnificent wire creature over a stiff drinks and let the compliments roll on in. BUY HERE.

This vanity mirror looks like it walked right out of Lewis Carroll’s imagination (in a less fantastical fashion). Gaze into this Duck Leg Mirror with all of its glamorously gold glory and know that you are in fact the most stylish (not to mention fun) of them all. Why? Because you have a gold duck legged vanity mirror! How many people can say that? BUY HERE.

This little Ceramic Hedgehog is the perfect little guy to plant some kitchen herbs or a hearty succulent, or if you don’t have a green thumb use him as a catch all or a handy little soap dish. Either way this West Elm find is the best thing to happen to hedgehogs since Sega. BUY HERE.
